Just received notice, up for auction in Reno, Aug 22 Ritchie Bros. 6 cyl gas. What model is it? Lots of track with no weight?

that looks like an aftermarket track system to retrofit the pontoons likely a flat head Chrysler nice looking project.

Jump seats in the back cab must be tight. Also what's the story with the drive shaft flanges?

Not an expert, but described as a 4Cyl 4 speed, engine looks awful close to a ford 300 CI :whistling:6 cyl

It looks more like a 250 CI Chevy! 2 piece push rod cover and forward dist mounting, smog plugs on head. In any case it is a 6 and most definitely not original

k got distracted by the side cover, ford distributor would be dead center, GM is forward. but at least we agree its a 6 cyl

Note the new 3/14 battery and the positive unhooked. Must be a draw in the system somewhere. Seems strange to remove the positive for photo shoot
