Happened across a 1964 Thiokol for sale in Big Bear, Ca about 3 weeks ago. Appears to have been a fire service piece of equipment. Here are some pictures and the info.

Seagrave?!? WTH? Never heard of that one before, was it a joint venture between Thiokol and Seagrave fire apparatus?

I suspect a firefighter w/ too much time on his hands and access to a pop rivet gun...

Could it be a 1962 model? Big Bear Fire Department had a 1962 Thikol on their equipment roster at one time. It’s not there now. Lot of Seagrave equipment in the area so it could have easily picked up the seagrave badges at the station.

And it has an 'E' exempt plate ?

Between the Seagrave tags, the color and the E plate - there’s no doubt it was a fire department vehicle.
I didn’t get a good look inside it - but it didn’t have any windows in it and we’ve had a lot of rain in the last two years.....
I thought the body looked kinda cool.

While I know nothing about this particular cat, when buying equipment from Fire agencies look real carefully for a sticker/small plate that says either "USDA" or "US Forest Service" on it.

Fire agencies are qualified for a program called FEPP where US Gov't equipment can be had for a nominal fee. The catch is the equipment/title is owned by the USDA Forest Service. The local agency cannot grant a good title. I've seen a few of this situation where an agency has a FEPP piece of equipment and decides to get rid of it. Only the current personnel don't realize the status. And sells it locally with a bill of sale and "lost title" letter.

Sometimes the local agency has permission to dispose of the equipment. They should have a release letter in addition to the title documents.
