Yep!

As soon as I glanced at the calendar this morning, I did a Happy Birthday to the Corps.

For those not aware, this is a "high holiday" for the USMC and there are formal balls and parties on most every base.

I served in the marine taxi service aka the US Navy.
Hey, why don't we celebrate the birthday of the Navy? I guess it was born before there were birthdays. :hide: :D

Ummm, nothing to celebrate :hide: :poke:

Actually the Navy's is 10/13/1775. The Marines were founded a little under a month later (11/10/1775).
