went to help finish installing today and we put it off till it is ice free.

mix the high humidity like they have with cold weather you get ice like that

you can see the coax is coiled and ready to be connected

no one noticed that the ice shield isn't over the round antenna. A temporary install wasn't good and the wind blew the antenna so it isn't directly under it.
this is the location from my home.
some snow on the hills but not enough to go with my snowcat. a crew drove trucks up today and chip ice as they work.
I plan on giving simplex a try with one of the crew later today.
