OK, anyone care to admit they are planning to watch?

Sharknado was so bad (we actually watched it at the cigar lounge) that it became an instant cult classic. And now we have SHARKNADO 2 and can only hope that it is as campy, as unintentionally funny, as horribly good, in a stupid fun sort of way, that the first movie turned out to be.

So who is watching?

Back to back tomorrow evening starting at 6pm Central.

Or should I ask, who is watching it but not admitting to it :whistling:

You're kidding, right?

I see similar titles in the SciFi channel every day but it seems like they're so low-rate (based on title alone) that I can't even seem to put them on the TV in the background.

Dead serious here.

The premise is so dumb it ends up being funny to watch.

Sharks in a tornado.

It is so stupid it really must be seen. The first one was became so popular they ended up replaying it a dozen times or more because of "word of mouth" demand to see it. Then they released it to DVD and it sold like hotcakes. It really has become an instant cult classic.

We can only hope that Sharknado 2 is just as dumb :yum:

As you said, it comes on again tonight at 7, followed by Sharknado II. Maybe I'll tune in for awhile.

Mega Shark vs. Crockosaurus is coming on in 20 minutes.
Ghost shark at 11:00
Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus at 3:00
Mega Shark vs. Mecha Shark at 5:00

I missed it.

Well I was pretty amazed with SHARKNADO #2.

In the original movie it was a cheap made for TV movie with several "C" list has been actors and mostly no-name actors. The original generated HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of 'tweets' and its fame spread nearly instantly by word of mouth making it an instant cult classic flick.

In the second movie there were DOZENS of cameo appearances by some pretty big name TV personalities salted in through the entire movie. On the bright side, they kept the campy humor and less than stellar CGI effects so it had the same 'feeling' of the first movie. I was really happy to see they kept the feel of the original. This movie opened up in 150 nations yesterday. It will replay on Saturday.

I caught the last half-hour of Sharknado (which was enough) and did watch II.

There were a lot of good cameo's in there. I liked the weather people and their maps.

AND THAT IS HOW IT SHOULD BE DONE. WATCH AND LAUGH

But I was hoping that Kelly Ripa would have had her head bitten off by a fly-by shark

Thank goodness I am to cheap to pay for cable.
I'm cheap but I have my priorities :hammer:

I watched Sharknado 2 and 3 yesterday. Missed the original.

Sadly when the premier of 4 started I was busy working on a photo book and worked all the way through that movie.
