I was just at Ski Roundtop in PA and saw a snowcat labeled LMC 1500 but it sure looked like a bombardier. Bigger than a Bombi but not much bigger. It looks like they may have been using it for non snow use. Of course I did not have my camera. Anyone know anything about this cat?

Did it look like this snow cat? This is one I owned for a short time.

They are a great snow cat and are sought after for personal use snow cats in the west. Power is either a Chrysler or Ford 6 cylinder with automatic transmission. They are 2 passenger or up to 10 passenger depending on the cab configurations. It is shorter and lighter than a 1200 Spryte/LMC, and has asymmetrical tracks for deep snow. Below is a link to several more for sale at Snotrans in Idaho: http://www.snotrans.com/equipment1.html

Yeah like yours but no rear cab. Again fairly small - like I could trailer it with no problem. It look like it had two brake steers to maneuver it. It did have asym tracks.
