Got this with one of my projects
Not sure if the moter works will try it some time if there's interest
Got most of the for the mounting and be easy to fab the missing pieces
I will post some other pic when I get my other camera

that isn't the original motor that one is an explosion proof motor for a hannay hose reel intended for petroleum products. I can get them brand new but they are expensive.

Thanks for posting this unique find Steve. Any idea how / where it was originally mounted? It seems like it would be too big for the front bumper...

It's interesting I think there are better option if you want a winch on the machine but it's eye candy and it did come with the machine

I have 2 30-30 lever action rifles now. I'm keeping my dad's I inherited.

The other I bought close to 30 years ago from a EX drinking buddy of mine who had a sob story about needing money and sold it to me. Who knows where he got it dude was an @sshole anyway.

I would have to believe the early models were or they ran off hydraulics like snow master implements. that motor is a 1 and a half horse one direction explosion proof motor commonly found on hose reels

must be smaller than our motors tough to tell size in pics. I know hannay dosent build their own motors, this must be a smaller version. the good part explosion proof also means water proof.
