We set a bunch of records last night and the frost was real heavy this morning. If the wilted leaves on my cherry trees are any indicator it was bad news for the vineyards. This hit right at the beak of bloom for a lot of things. Will also impact the bees as many folks had just done their hive splits. This hurts their ability to produce heat to keep the brood and queen alive. We are hoping to split ours later this week.
