I have decided to sell my Tucker, the reason is I haven't been able to use it as much as I had hoped. It is in great shape with no issues. I have owned it for 2 years and have done a fair amount of work to it in order to get it as reliable as possible. Here is a portion of what I have done.
2 new optima red top batteries
new plugs and wires
changed fluids in rear/front end transmission, transfer case,
two new hyfax on the front tracks
all new bearings and seals with synthetic grease 40 total
drilled and tapped wheels and installed new grease zirks
5 new wheels with several extras
several new u-joints
re-welded the fuel tank and installed baffles
new fuel pump
swapped the drive wheels so they wear on the other side

When I think some more I will add them

The Tucker has a fuel injected 318 with a five speed manual
winches on both ends that can be ran from the cab, heater works great has been recently rewired, has a ham radio, tracks are in good shape does not use a drop of oil or leak. Like I said it runs great my wife drives it more than me usually with our 2 boxers and lab. I have a new computer and will try to get some pictures on here this evening but if you want some I can text them to you.

Also I have a 14k tilt trailer that could go with it for there right price, all total I have about $19,500 in it so that is what I am asking without the trailer.
Any questions give me a call 406-570-3375 thanks

I will get some pictures of the inside in a day or so. I am willing to haul it depending on the final price an willing to trade (partial) looking for a Willys fc-170 for a project.

Would you be interested in selling the trailer separately, and if so, at what price?

As a boy we had a 1961 Jeep FC-170 DRW with a stake body. I learned to drive on that. Kind of a cool and unique vehicle, though I remember my Dad had lots of issues getting parts, and that was back in the late sixties.

Not interested in selling the trailer separate yet might if my tucker sells and they don't want the trailer.

I've always wanted a fc to built, as for parts I plan on modifying it pretty heavily :brows:so all I will probably use is the frame and cab, the drivetrain will be beefed up.
thanks

Maybe some more pictures?

Are you still going to post pictures of inside the cab, dash, engine, etc?
Also what are the little brackets/rods on the side of the doors for?
Could you also post or send pictures of the under carriage? rollers, and maybe a couple of the bed and tank? etc?

Kind of interested, I want a 44 model, but I think more of a mid 80's model.
Wonder if I could switch hoods?

Thanks

Couple pictures from yesterday 2/18/17 :w00t2:

FROM SEMA SHOW 2014

I was at SEMA 2014, saw that FC-170, and chatted with the exhibitor. Honestly I think it's even nicer in person. Beautifully done with great attention to detail. Some people take tons of photos. I took pictures only of the vehicles I thought were particularly special, or something I thought was ridiculous. There are a lot of really well done vehicles at SEMA but I took only 25 pictures at SEMA 2014 and two were of the Jeep.

Here's one from the absurd category. As a good friend said "Imagine, someone woke up one morning and thought this was a good idea"?

Arch,

I don't know with certainty, but I'd guess your cab is 52" wide and this one is 48" (outside of frame measurement).

Thanks for the info, I think I would still like to stay in the early to mid 80s models unless the price was right...
