That looks like a really nice setup. A significant improvement in so many ways, yet the integration of the new cab literally looks factory.

I have been working on the dog house---this is the old dog house re installed backwards---I lowered the radiator in the chassis---and lowered the dog house also----the dog house is bolted to the chassis with the access door to the rear of cat----and the frt. of the dog house will be part of the cab floor and flip up with the cab when tilted---and also what is nice about the cab is that it has a huge floor plate that is removable and the frt. part of the dog house will be part of it

A Chevy cab on a Ford powered rig...… There is just something not right about that LOL...

:bolt:

Regards, Kirk

when build this I did think about the lower cab to ground clearance -----but the plow frame ----which looks factory-----sits lower than the cab----but if I had to I can pull the steps off and cut lower doors and I will have 22 inches ground to cab-----top of the tracks are 24 inches

your right it should be all chevy-----lol------

No, it should be a Ford....

GM just tossed out 15,000 workers, and plans to build electric cars in China. :hammer: :hammer:

I know I will never buy a GM product again. To easy to go right around the left wing Obama motors...

I hope we tariff any possibility of profit from the move on GM's part.

Sorry...

unlike all the fake hot rod shows----I have to mock everything up than pull it all apart and do the finish work---tonight I finished the dog house /drilled some hole to run shifter cable and the gas pedal cable----tomorrow I hope to fit gas tank / battery box by the weekend iam hopping to pull motor and get chassis ready for rhino liner than into the paint booth ---and yes iam also the painter----no fake tv show here-------this pic is the frt. of the dog house that is now part of the removable floor pan

I fit a 3700 CF cab onto a 2100 chassis. I fully understand the thinking that is going on. did you use the Isuzu cabs hinge system of top weld up your own.

Cool sleds

I used the factory cab hindges that came with the cab---I had to rework the torsion tension ----I have it set so that when I move cab latch/lock down the cab comes up about 1 foot than I open 1 door and it comes up about 3 feet and open other door and it goes up even more
