A pilot with a beef with the IRS has crashed a plane into an office housing the IRS offices. The investigation is quickly turning to a deliberate act from initial reports. Fire is still burning as efforts continue to control the blaze. The pilot also set his home on fire before taking off in the plane.

I hadn,t heard about that yet , I damn sure dont like hearing it & hope no ones been injured or worse .

But my dark side says if you push people to far they push back or snap without thinking of the outcome . Very sad to say the least for the lives of the people affected by it .

We'll have to wait and see what the talking heads have to say tonight. It should be interesting. I'll bet someone calls for a no-fly zone around gubment buildings. I gotta shiny nickle if anyone want to bet which moron on which network says it first.:yum:

I just heard that he own the plane so it was stolen. The rest of the story is still a little sketchy yet but is seems he left some kind of manifesto behind with a long rambling list of complaints about government.

This Is How It Begins (Wanton Violence)
This is not the sort of thing you want to report on.

But I need to, because what looked like an accident originally - a horrible accident, with a plane on approach that had some sort of mechanical problem - now looks to be something else.

AUSTIN, TX (myFOXaustin) - A small aircraft plane has crashed into a 7-story office building in North Austin near Mopac and 183. The plane crashed into the Echelon building around 10 a.m. Thursday morning. Police have blocked off access roads around the building.

....

According to Corp. Scott Perry with APD several federal offices were located inside the building that was struck by the plane. Officials with NTSB say that IRS offices were some of the federal offices.

CNBS is reporting that there is "no indication that this was an act of terrorism or otherwise intentional." Oh really? Then how come CNBC is claiming on-air that the man involved set fire to his own house first? Oh, and Fox News just stated that the name of the pilot was.... Mr. Joe Stack.

Uh.... what's this?

I know I’m hardly the first one to decide I have had all I can stand. It has always been a myth that people have stopped dying for their freedom in this country, and it isn’t limited to the blacks, and poor immigrants. I know there have been countless before me and there are sure to be as many after. But I also know that by not adding my body to the count, I insure nothing will change. I choose to not keep looking over my shoulder at “big brother” while he strips my carcass, I choose not to ignore what is going on all around me, I choose not to pretend that business as usual won’t continue; I have just had enough.

I can only hope that the numbers quickly get too big to be white washed and ignored that the American zombies wake up and revolt; it will take nothing less. I would only hope that by striking a nerve that stimulates the inevitable double standard, knee-jerk government reaction that results in more stupid draconian restrictions people wake up and begin to see the pompous political thugs and their mindless minions for what they are. Sadly, though I spent my entire life trying to believe it wasn’t so, but violence not only is the answer, it is the only answer. The cruel joke is that the really big chunks of shit at the top have known this all along and have been laughing, at and using this awareness against, fools like me all along.

I saw it written once that the definition of insanity is repeating the same process over and over and expecting the outcome to suddenly be different. I am finally ready to stop this insanity. Well, Mr. Big Brother IRS man, let’s try something different; take my pound of flesh and sleep well.

Eek. That's a homicide note folks, as distinct from a suicide note in that he has declared that the acts to follow are intended to kill others.

I have archived the entire screed, as I fully expect it to "disappear" very soon. If it does, I'll fix the link with one to my archived copy.

Where is San Marcos?

Just south - by about 20 miles - of Austin.

Any questions?

Stop lying you media whores. It took me 30 seconds to uncover this - this is a raw claim of an intentional act published on the Internet - an act of a desperate man taken with the claimed intent of provoking a reaction and ultimately armed violence.

Let me make myself clear: this sort of "political statement" is exactly what this nation does not need.

I have repeatedly warned about the probable response if the population decides that the government is a felon instead of the cops. Among some of the points I have made:

Should the people come to the conclusion that The Government is in fact a felon - should there be no enforcement at the state level, no real move to "take back" authority vested in The Constitution, returning it to the states and to rein in the crooks, subjecting them to the just desserts for their crimes, there is a very real risk that The People will decide that there is only one way to obtain justice: through the actions of their own hand.

Lest you think this is an unrealistic view, I direct you to Mexico, where the police have become so corrupt that the people are now catching burglars and torturing them on their own. Vigilante justice is swift, certain, and brutal.

But it is the logical and expected outcome when the people reach the breaking point. Those who believe it "can't happen here" are deluded - it both can and will if our government does not stop condoning and in fact conspiring with the crooks that have robbed the people of this nation.

And by the way, this is not just some "crackpot Internet blogger" saying that the nation has been looted. How about William Black, a recognized national expert, one of the people who prosecuted the fraud in the S&L Crisis, and who has said, in part:

WILLIAM BLACK: In the savings and loan crisis, where the national commission finds that the typical large failure fraud was invariably present, we had over 1,000 convictions of senior insiders, what the FBI referred to as priority cases. At this stage among the subprime lending specialists, we have zero convictions. We have zero indictments.

PAUL SOLMAN: So, what would you do? over 1,000 convictions of senior insiders, what the FBI referred to as priority cases. At this stage among the subprime lending specialists, we have zero convictions. We have zero indictments.

PAUL SOLMAN: So, what would you do?

WILLIAM BLACK: I would prosecute the felons.

So, in September 2004, the FBI began publicly warning that there was -- quote, unquote -- "epidemic" of mortgage fraud, and it predicted that it would produce an economic crisis, if it were not dealt with. The FBI has also said that 80 percent of the mortgage fraud losses occur when lender personnel are involved. So, Fitch looks at a small sample of these loans, finally, in November 2007.

PAUL SOLMAN: Fitch is one of the ratings agencies?

WILLIAM BLACK: Yes. It's the smallest of the big three.

What did they find? They said, the results were disconcerting, in that there was the appearance of fraud in nearly every file we examined. And they said that normal underwriting would have detected all of those frauds.

Damnit, how much does it take before our government will STOP THE DAMN LOOTING?

It was his own plane according to the news.

It is an apparent act of terrorism if he had the gall to attack one of our most prized institutions of our government.

What we need now is another Ghandi! Armed insurrection will only result in Martial Law and a new Holocaust! They have been preparing for Decades and I for 1 do not want to learn what they have to teach us! Non violent protest is the only way to go! RECALL Petitions for the 2010 elections! Throw the Bums OUT! STRIKES! not Riots!

How about for the folks that work there at the IRS ? They may well have been killed ,or injured by this psychopath .

Well of COURSE I would feel horrible if someone needlessly died! I thought it goes without saying.

Terrorism is an act one party takes against a supposed innocent person or group to to influence the behavior of a rival third party.

This was an attack or an act of attempted murder against a predefined and chosen target.

They are markedly different and so are their ramifications.

They are both also wrong in my opinion.

Shit man... that happens DAILY on the near West side of Chicago. :ermm:

Bottom line Im verrrrrrrrrrrry concerned that this type of thing is going to happen more and more often as things become worse in the US. Innocent people will die for people that have reached the level this guy has. Change is one thing..... murder is another.

Somebody needs to make a law stating that it's illegal to fly planes into buildings. That would surely stop this kind of tragedy.

My thoughts Exactlly nixon . But like most posts here & elsewhere People just want to share their opinion & not think about the bottom line or the fact real people are affected by what they personally are not at fault for . :whistling: .

I cant wait to see if its Bushes or Obamas fault . But bottom line Its really sad that very few here have thought or commented about the people involved posablly injured for life or worse because of ones fanatical views & the piss poor way he chose to handle it rather then turning into a political issue against the government .

If in fact He did set his house on fire with his familly inside & Thank the good lord if thats true they were rescued . Theres little mention of that here .

Just tells me most folks would rather take pics at a train wreck then do anything they can to see if they can do anything to help someone in need .

Nope I aint real good at sayin what I mean & I doubt anyone really pays attention to my thoughts anyway . But i,ve seen more concern about somebody loosing a pet , then things that really should be more important when it comes to real people involved no matter what anyones beleifs are . Just my opinion & I,m sure I,ll be sorry for sharing it as ussuall .

Nixon and Cowboy are right. These acts really just target the grunts that have to execute on bad policy.

The bad laws and policies come from the top. Killing innocent agents and staff doesn't solve anything. I feel for those people and their families.

Look at the bright side of this whole situation......at least the anti-gun lobbyists won't be able to say that the reason people were injured/killed was because of gun laws that are too lenient.

This is just a bad situation all around.

Its a terrible thing ,But I expect to see more of this type of thing happening across America .
U.S. Citizens are fed up . More rights are given to the non citizen and special groups each day .
This guy finally flipped and I bet there are many more that are very close behind him .

Where does it end ????

It ends when we call a government office and can actually understand what the government employyee is saying without needing a translator . It ends when Politicians finally realize that we cannot keep paying for every little whim that they want .
It ends when They do not have a guaranteed job with super medical and retirement benifits for the rest of their lifes and they have to worry like every one else .

And it will never end as long as we have idiotic, double standard , two faced ,lying greedy people like Nancy Pelosi in office . She is the poster child of everything that is wrong with government and one of the greatest insults to America that I have ever witnessed .
Until that happens
WE all lose .......

Like I said . More is coming .... A lot more .......
