Compression socks?

Anyone else here need them? I've been having circulation problems in my legs and after having a blood clot 4 years ago, a specialist prescribed some. I've also been seeing a doctor for varicose veins and he also recommends them. I find they look goofy but so far, they seem to be helping.

I wear those compression sports leggings when working outside. I started wearing them last year after my foot and leg injury. Before you start laughing I usually wear them under my Carhartts. :th_lmao:

They help tremendously. They are cheap as hell on Amazon. I am trying to find camo ones to wear while mowing the lawn. :th_lmao::th_lmao::th_lmao:

I wear them occasionally when I know I'm going to be on my feet constantly for long periods.
Like next Monday going full time on 2nd shift.
The scrub stores sell all types in designs and different colours.
These are light compression tho, not the kind worn for medical complaints with circulation.

I had never even considered them before. But after wearing them a couple days I'm a believer. I had a script and got the expensive ones at the healthcare store. Then, stupidly I didn't take them off while painting yesterday and got red paint on them. I tried to wipe it off but only succeeded in turning the white socks pink. Those will be worn strictly under long pants this winter. So, I went to a sports store and picked up a pair of hockey compression socks. They are almost the same thing as the expensive ones. I also ordered 3 pairs on Ebay the same prescription as the first pair.

One issue I have is severe nerve damage in my back is when it tightens up, I often lose feeling in my legs and feet. The socks seem to help that.

I find the socks have been great for my circulation. But at $120 a pair from the healthcare store for the prescription ones,, they aren't affordable. So I set out last week to source cheaper ones. I had found the hockey socks which provided a good alternative. But decided to check out a sports store in town where I found compression socks 2 pair for $25. They're good. The ones I ordered on ebay arrived as well. 3 pair for $25. The same prescription as the expensive ones. Good quality.

Lol!

Just as I am putting mine on, I have to come across this... :yankchain:

Yes they are a pain to put on, but the results are well worth the effort..
