I was coming off the trails today and back at the barn, these guys were putting the tracks on this machine. They said it was 1000 hours on it and a 1987 model. Do I have the model and make right?? Seems the track might be put on it backwards...

Re: lcm 3500d

Not my eye, they asked me if the tracks are on backwards and looking at there wear, I said they might be. Thanks!:applause: The track belting and idlers looked terrible! I'd have not left the parking lot with it.

if that is a 3700 it is a really early one.

the one here in the yard is a 5 boggie wheel machine.

and the back of the tunnel is drastically different.

given I presume the YOOP, I would not be surprised if it a 1/2 breed combo job.

I would have to agree with redsqwrl on that it is a strange 3700 as mine also has 5 wheels a side, but I think it might be one of the "newer" ones as the cab and hood lean more towards what they were making at the end....
