A dangerous job indeed.

Like I've mentioned before, I could tell you some stories.
There have been times after a particular incident or run he's made where he will not speak to anyone for days.
But it's his passion.
I'm very proud of him.

Any job that involves standing or working on the highway is dangerous as hell.
Most people are on autopilot and the batteries are low.

Then there's the tunnel vision that develops, especially when folks have been on the road for hours.
You can easily witness this just by walking into any travel center or truck stop along a major highway.
The people all walk around like zombies.

I not only did a bajillion miles driving semi's, but also worked on highway crews.
You just wouldn't believe (or you might) how dangerous being a flagman on a busy highway can be.

our DOT is complaining about people hitting things while taking pictures of accidents as they drive by.
