DMC 1450 WT repairs update

I got my new RF axle installed, and Snowcat Pat is making 10 new spindles for my bogies. New front springs next week because the RF thru bolt was really bent and I didn't want to take a chance on the spring as it was pretty torqued. Thought I'd service the tranny while I'm waiting. It's a c-4. PEB N5....book shows a 1979 Fairmont with 200ci. Anyone seen a pan like this?

I have 4 full width WT grousers in good shape with a hinge setup in good condition to trade. I'm overlapping so I'm looking for 32" grousers or wheel guides.

Making my own backing plates and I'm hitting up MNO for about 40 grousers...

That's the Big Chunk Special Oil Pan! It will catch all those annoying little pieces floating around in the oil pan like, Crankshaft bolts, Connecting Rods and maybe even a Crankshaft balancer! :w00t: My SV-250 has a box welded to the bottom of my oil pan, I think the round pipe gives it a super vortex special sifting power!:th_lmao:

Thanks. I need every vortex I can use getting this 1450 back on the snow. I think it was owned by KUPX tv in Ogden Utah. Definitely not snow people. Only 2000 hours but the whole undercarriage looks like it did the AlCan hwy. All new Timken bearings/races with new spindles and LOTS of seals. Trying like hell to get ready for McCall....we'll see. I'd make sure I had a big heater up there where you're at, MNO said they had -38!
