Pros and Cons of Dump Bed???

Howdy all,
I need some more expert advice on my SV-250S... and I know I get what I pay for :w00t2: so I'm @$$ deep into what started out as a floor mat cleaning project :whistling: and since I have the entire bed completely cut off the tub now; I've been thinking.... I could easily put a Dump bed on the back, instead of just replacing the sheet metal. It would be handy for hauling wood and whatever else I might need to unload fast, but how much performance would I loose if I added say another 400-600 pounds for a 4'x6' dump bed?

so seeing as how you are going to do a full custom cab build, I suggest copying a marooka....
