2017 vintage snow machine show in N.H.

We have picked a date of Saturday, February 25th 2017 for our show this year. It will be from 10:00 to 3:00 at 73 Laundromat Rd. Thornton, N.H. 03285

All snow traveling vehicles are welcome. Last year we had about 30 rigs : 8 Tuckers, 4 Thiokols, 3 Bombardiers, 1 Kubota, 5 Ford model T 's as well as 1 Model A, 2 Pistenbulleys , 1 PPT, various antique snowmobiles and a 1929 Lombard tractor. We estimate about 400 people showed up.

There is no charge for admission and the local Boy Scout Troop will be selling food.

The next day, (Sunday the 25th) we are planning a trip to a local restaurant for brunch. We will leave our shop at about 10:00 AM. the trip is about 5 miles one way. We got a permit that allows unregistered vehicles to go on the snowmobile trails that day.

A few pics from years past.

Great event and great group of people. Thank you for putting this together .

Sad I will be missing this event but keep me posted on any other trail rides coming up.

I've been lured to McCall!

I am hoping to join your event this year with a repeat visit of my new (Track Addict's old) 442. I will be there as long as I can figure out a trailer arrangement and the roads are reasonably clean and dry. Excited to attend and meet some of you all!

Tucker Someday, it would be great to have you at the show. We have a hot water pressure washer at our shop to clean your rig if needed.

Vintagebike, that sounds like a great idea but I think it is way beyond my ability. Maybe someone else that is coming would be able to do it.

Trackaddict, that's to bad you can't make it this year At least your old cat may come, not that I wouldn't want to see you too.

I use an iPhone or iPad. Then a simple ap and a LTE telephone signal is all you need. We hooked up my 91 year old mother at Christmas. It would be great to share the rides.

Test run today to make sure I could haul it to the show. Just barely squeaks on this trailer but should get me from Jackson to Thornton. Took me 15 tries to get it squared up and on the trailer. About 1" on either side between the wheels

What are the dimensions of your trailer between the wheel wells?

That cat is 6'6" wide. Going to take a stab there is 7'. I used to haul it on a 7 ton tilt deck and had the same space left in between the fenders and the tracks.

That setup does look compact and easy!

I measured about 6' 9" between the rails. Snug but it works. It's a 7000 lbs trailer so as long as it fits it should be fine. Now o just have to worry about the 2007 half ton GMC dragging it up over the notch.

[Yup , Show and ride are still on for this Saturday and Sunday. We still have some snow and the means to import some more. Here are some different rigs that showed early.

The Lombard is here with four Lombard sleds that Logah put together.

This is a 1994 Bombardier BR 160 that we added to our fleet. Wouldn't you know that my wife came up behind me as I was trailering the BR 160 to my shop. I guess I should have told her BEFORE I bought it.

Mother nature is not playing nice. Last weekend would have been perfect but we have had some very warm weather this week. We had to move a couple thousand yards of snow but I think it will last for meet. It still looks like we will have a pretty good turnout.
I did get to spend all day in a groomer spreading snow around.

job with this show guys. A little warm on Saturday but thanks to all the snow you moved around, we still had plenty for lots of rides. And a good time today with the trip to the Sunset Grill. Here is a handful of pics from both days.

That last post was supposed to start with "Great job with this show guys" but I deleted "Great" somehow. But it is clear that the crew put a lot of work into this! Thank you. Here are a few more pictures.
