Indiana's Democratic Senator Evan Bayh is stepping down from the Senate. So to run in his place is Brad Ellisworth, he is a Congressman from southern Indiana, he is a Pro-Lifer, and he just announced that he will be voting to support ObamaCare.
Ok none of that is particularly interesting, except that Obama took Indiana with just at 50% of the vote. I'm not positive, but I believe that it was the closest race in terms of votes between Obama and McCain. We are a 'reliable' Republican state with a few exceptions. One of those exceptions was Evan Bayh, a proclaimed conservative/moderate member of the Democratic party.
Brad Ellisworth, representing Evansville, has portrayed himself in much the same way a conservative/moderate member of the Democrats, even a modestly reliable semi-friend of gun owners and a generally Pro-Life candidate. But the state seems to be opposing ObamaCare overall. So now he announces his support of ObamaCare, he betrays his Pro-Life stance, and he shows that he is not the moderate/conservative Democrat that the claims.
I think it will be interesting to watch the Senate race in Indiana in November.
The "comments" below the article are pretty interesting too.

Observe that many of the supporters insult and attack "teabaggers" and "nutjobs" while the people opposing Ellsworth tend to attack the issues or the candidate.
