OH YES here too. Our A/C went out a week ago Friday and we had to do all weekend without. It was not as hot as this weekend but still got to 85 in the house. Miserable. Appreciating our A/C more than ever this weekend.
Here as well. For the first time is several years, we had to cover the main skylight to keep the heat down inside.
Last year we lost a 45 year old oak that shaded the house during the afternoons. I had no idea it made such a difference. It will be years before a replacement grows up and does the job again.
