We are low on snow here but we went up anyway and made the best of it. Another foot or two will make a big difference. Just like spring up there.

Sno-Surfer, are you using an iPhone? I found if you hold it horizontally with the home button to the right the pictures come out right side up when uploaded.

When surfer gets the canvas done, it will probably have a row of little oval windows up high just at the break of the roof line.

I’m building a hoop style canvas cover for the back. It will have vinyl windows on all sides and the rear and sides can be rolled up when it’s nice out. I had the local welding shop build the hoops and the mounts on the sides of the bed. There is about 5’ 1” of headroom and that feels about right to me. Trying to keep it low and light. The material I’ve picked out of from Seattle fabrics and is a vinyl coated 18oz tent like material and seems pretty tough and uv resistant. Color is undecided but I am leaning toward a simple grey utilitarian look. Red is a possibility, maybe tan, I think black is too dark. most likely grey. Went from using two hoops to four with some urging from a wise forum member. It feels real solid now.
I just took the cat back today to have the board racks out on. Pictures of that next.

The hoop pictures are before I shortened it 5". It was 5'6" and now is 5' 1"

I see the board rack shots are sideways. They will be simple hooks that will fold out when needed and will carry skis and boards horizontally.
