Well it’s been over a year that we lost Beaux and it was time. We now have a new family member, meet Bubba, 15mos old. Got him from a friends mother who was an overwhelmed animal hoarder. He failed to sell and she commenced to neglect him, holed up in a basement for the last 5 months with no interactions. He’s a wonderful dog but he has some anxiety. Training is going well but separation anxiety is his only issue. He’s my shadow and doesn’t settle when I’m not around, it’s going to be a slow process. Other than that, he’s an excellent addition to our home! He’s almost the spitting image of Beaux!

What everyone else said. That is one beautiful dog.

That 3rd picture, when they look at you like that there is nothing that you can do or nothing that you can't forgive.

Training is coming along nicely. We do a lot of porch sitting and he’s taking well to NOT running deer. We get lots of opportunity for training not to say he’s not interested. It’s amazing how soon he senses them around, always before I do. He uses his nose better than our 7 previous Labs. The acorns are falling and traffic to the oak tree in the yards draws them. He watches and whispers woofs ?
