BETHLEHEM, Pa. (AP) — A Pennsylvania woman is in the cooler after police say she stabbed her boyfriend because he smacked her sunburned bottom.
Bethlehem police say 24-year-old Tiffany Sherry stabbed her boyfriend three times Monday night, including once in the back as he fled.
Investigators say Michael Martinez told officers Sherry was washing dishes when he slapped her rear as a joke because she'd suffered a bad sunburn. He says she turned around with a knife and stabbed him after he backed into the living room.
Sherry was arrested on charges including aggravated and simple assault after Martinez called police from a neighbor's home. Authorities say Martinez was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Sherry is being held on $25,000 bail at Northampton County Prison. Court records don't list an attorney for her.

I have forwarded this to my mis-representatives in Washington to immediately propose legislation for the total confiscation and elimination of knives in this country, except in the hands of the military. There is no good reason people need to have unfettered access to knives which could be used to cause pain, suffering and even death when in the hands of the unstable or criminally insane. This stabbing is just another example of what can happen when an unstable (sunburned ass...not too fucking bright) individual has access to an implement of death and destruction, and should serve to everyone that we are a tipping point where if these weapons are not banned and confiscated right now, that we will become a nation of knife wielding murderers who cannot be stopped. Nobody NEEDS a knife in this country as a tool of conflict resolution.

He smacked his dishwasher??? This appliance abuse has to stop! Doesn't that void the warranty?

I've heard that tanning is dangerous but this is ridiculous.

Well, I'd go as far as saying that one is an idiot and the other is nuts. But, in the end, she was only trying to fulfill his obvious death wish.
