That's a lot of wheel guides, what happened, you park it in Tacoma and find it on blocks when you come back ?:bolt:

You know Tacoma . 2 got smashed sometime I'mwhen the RF axle was impacted and bent back and ruined. About 10 more have been torch damaged sometime in their past and I ruined a few grinding off 900 bolt heads. One was welded to the grouser in the field. Just got my new bogie spindles from Snowcat Pat yesterday so I can put the undercarriage together. Getting some 1" web x2" leg channel made from .125" 4130 for my new 31.25" full width grousers. Drilling my backing plates now, so I'll be ready for some wheel guides soon. Your monster 1450/5.0 Is too cool. Can't wait to hear it.

Most of the guides can be saved by building up the flange by welding and milling flat. I don't have a mill so my backup plan is to take them to the machine shop and pony up the $95/ hr.
MEB Machine in Everett has been great to me so far. Seems like everybody has a soft spot for snowcats.

I have [12], 10 new, 2 slightly used. The base base plate is the same, but the nubs are 1/2 taller, and spaced 4" apart. It wouldn't take much to cut weld, shorten, and weld 3" apart. these came off a Thikol Packmaster.
