Seems like a reasonably priced machine.

Says it's 12' W x 16' L with a 14' blade. It's a 1988 so I bet it's a PB 170. They had some sort of circuit board problems when they had high hours. Might be a good idea to shoot a pm to DrZaugg he knows ski area groomers.

Its either a PB170D or PB200D and I would guess the PB200D as they were more common.

The drive card is a very simple circuit board and is about $700 new. There is a bypass procedure if the card goes bad so it can be "manually" driven home. My first PB200D was a basket case and someone had messed up the wiring and couldn't get it to run properly. I followed the wiring diagram and all the service info and got it running like it should. The drive card was inop and I didn't have the $$ to replace so I drove it the whole winter in manual mode. I have found that electric over hydraulic machines are actually pretty easy to work on and very reliable if you treat them right.
