New to me Tucker Kitten

I recently bought a 1955 Tucker Kitten, I Believe I’m the third owner, it was originally sold by the dealer in Maine in 1955 having left the factory in October of 1954. The Red Hill Ski area in Moultonborough NH bought and used it until about 1990 when it was sold to a man in Sandwich NH who groomed a bird sanctuary for x-country skiers. Having not been run in about 12 years, it’s now running again.
I also got many spare parts including a set of 12” pontoons, spare engines, rear ends, transmission, starters , generators and a drag.
As most things that haven’t run in a while, it needs some tinkering. I am still writing the list. I see lots of information on the forum and that will be a great help. Trying to upload pictures, but website returns them. Have to try again.

Welcome Pete! Nice to see some treasures still are lurking on the East coast. The Masshole cat contingent growing in numbers and we all seem to reside in NH also.

Ask lots of questions and post lots of pictures. The forum will guide you from there.

Nice Kitten.

If you look at your tucker logo on the kitten the original paint looks like it’s still there and matches the pontoons.

Any narrow track parts?

Haven’t found any yet, unable to open shed barn doors where additional parts are stored. Snow and ice still to deep, more snow last night and it’s snowing again now. Winter isn’t giving up yet.

Nice Project you have there, I would love to find a 222 in restorable condition. Im jealous and don't care if you know it. I can't wait to see the improvements.

Thank you
I’m trying to learn lots about it . The weather has been slowing things down. 18 inches of snow and 6 inches of ice have delayed things. Took 4 weekends to chisel the tracks out of the ice and dig it out.Still hoping snow will melt soon so I can collect the rest of the parts and drag.
A little bit at a time.....

You must have washed, and cleaned the pine needles and moss of that little kitten,it looks a lot cleaner and shinier then the last time i saw it. You should have just hooked a generator to it to thaw it out of the ice !

Ya, it’s amazing what soap and water will clean off, been sitting for years. Track Addict must have sent you the first pictures, I didn’t post the ones with moss growing on it. Vacuumed lots of acorns and pine needles also. Didn’t find anything living it it. Just trying to see what’s underneath it all, so I can see where to start.

Ya he’s had it for years but never wanted to sell it. He is a freind of mine’s Neighbor , met him about 1980 . Before he bought it we used to groom the bird sanctuary with chainlink fence on the back of my arctic cat. Once he had that, it did a great job.

Is there a replacement for these gauges? Were they from a car back then? Dodge?
Also any idea for motor mounts? Were they Anglo? Or something from Tucker?

I can't discern measurements from the photo, but that looks like a fairly normal, flathead Ford motor mount.
Try speedwaymotors.com.

You will love that accessory. the value of that board is truly priceless if you are any taller than the 5' ginger midget character in the sherlock holmes movie.....

that is a brilliant add on.

ill fated attempt at Humor.....

all proper snow cats have two tracks and a board shoved somewhere for some purpose.... its the improper ones that have shiny paint sans timber accessories. this cat is a Hybrid.

I got Ford Anglea motor mounts, motor parts and transmission parts from Small Ford Spares in the UK for my '59 Kitten. Vintage Supplies maybe the same outfit.
