Ok guys, I picked up this bombi last spring to rebuild and use at my cabin for personal enjoyment. The cab was in pretty rough shape so I have made new doors, roof and cab back out of .080 aluminum. I have worked over the fiberglass nose and have it ready to paint. I have been kicking around the idea of changing cab up some. It adds a lot of room on the inside of cab. I was just looking for opinions whether to do this or not. Has anybody else done this? It would be easy to do. I mocked up a temp cab from cardboard. If I do make this it would be out of the same .080 aluminum. What’s your thoughts and opinion. I have added pictures with original nose and also proposed piece. This is a great sight. Thanks for your input.
