one is near my place in a wrecking yard. I have read that they throw tracks.

raid tracs and rattracks are different machines the raidtrack is about the size of a cushnan trickster mine has a 18 horse techumsa f head motor in it whitch is also an obsolete engine they are driven by a snowmachine clutch and belt system and use an open clutch and brake system to steer so like most older dozers they aren't going to steer well in deep soft snow especially when pulling weight a kolher engine from the old john deer 6x4 gators make a good conversion but have fun finding one there is a reason why mine is still sitting in the backyard.

There is more than 1 model. There is a smaller one, 618 and 718, similar to a Cushman trackster. This is the larger 1800 series machine with the 2 cylinder air cooled citroen engine.

it is in storage at the back of the yard .when they showed it to me it had leaves and stuff over it. I figured it was a vw engine in it when looking it over.

I lusted after those quad tracs until I ran one.

a mere toy.

Cool if you don't like your kidneys or need to dislodge some kidney stones.

I am sure there is a spot that it would work well and be appropriate.

Fan cooled 2 cycle engine is not my thing for work.
