Underwriters Laboratories Inc. is notifying consumers that the extension cord identified below has not been evaluated for safety by UL and bears a counterfeit UL Mark for the United States. Distributed by Pride Products Corporation, this cord has an undersized conductor wire.

Identification:

On the product: The cord is green in color. The cord surface is marked:

"(UL) SPT-2 60C 16AWGA2C E187857 181710-001"

The cord has a counterfeit UL holographic label with the wording:

"E137398
CORD SET
ISSUE NO: BW-5833"

On the packaging: The packaging is marked with a counterfeit UL Mark and the following:

"PRIDE PRODUCTS CORP.
9ft. Household Extension Cord
13A-125V-1625 W
16/2 SPT-2"
