There is a seal ( on the bearing ) but they even when new will leak past
The main thing is it has fluid. It happens in dozers also you run them that way
And they are fine. What fluid are you running or going to run?

I filled the drive axles with slightly over a qt of 80-90 but now they leveled off with hydraulic oil. As long as its not going to hurt running lighter oil on the axles then I have no problem with it.

What fluid in the diff? Cat T0 4 is the best but a trans hydraulic fluid works fine
Depending on tempature your running at 30w is good for winter even 15w for the real cold but summer use use 50w
