Copy the following text into Google, or just click on this example:

Kubota BX2230 $3900 site:craigslist.org

Today the same imaginary tractor, identical pictures and all, is listed in:

New Hampshire
Maine
Pennsylvania
Delaware (two instances)
Montana
Sacramento (two instances)
Los Angeles
Anchorage
and
Guam - three of them! - and a half dozen similar listings.

By the time you see this, Craigslist will likely have taken these down but the search will hit new instances.

Real hits for a BX2230 are around $9-11k, so I don't know how these clowns expect to catch anyone.

It might be a good idea when you see anything on craiglist, to then search it on Google using the site:craigslist.org option as a first screen for a scam.

Wow - that guy was busy. Google now shows 48 hits on that identical listing.

Just in Guam, there are six additional bogus Kubotas posted. There must be thousands nationwide.
