I laughed

I had never seen "Silence Of The Lambs" before I watched it today and I laughed at quite a of it. Especially when Hannibal Lector said things like:
I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice Chianti,
I really liked when he made that hissing noise at the end of his speech.

I have never eaten a "fava" bean. I think that he mispronounced "chianti."
I never liked liver (non human that is).
I have never, (to my knowledge) eaten human liver.
I just have a feeling that human liver might taste the same?
Does anyone know?

But I digress.
My question to Dear Abby is this.
Is it wrong that I laughed at this movie, or is it normal to laugh at really stupid, corny, hokey movies, (such as "Silence Of The Lambs).

By the way I much preferred Mr. Hopkins in "Shadowlands."

It's always good to laugh, even if you find something funny about a movie like that.

I saw that movie years ago. I might have chuckled at that line but I don't remember any laughs. It was made 25 years ago ....so much has changed since then. Old movies of all kinds are seen as funny decades after they are made.
