Here is an excerpt from the 2006 OMB report.
When I look at the data as it relates to % of the GDP, it seems relatively stable over the 15 years or so.
Also, isn't a large portion of the deficit due as promises for Social Security?

Figures don't lie, but liars do figure. The GDP has been manipulated in such a way to make the figures come out where the party that is in control wants them to be. Both sides have learned how to manipulate the figures to their best advantage.... Junk..
