just did some math for my 4t10......it is showing 5561 on the speedo, and 2029 on the hobbs. average MPH is 2.74
this is great except for the fact that the hobbs meter is always running when the master switch is on, and will continue running the hours clock even if the cat isnt moving (idling during warm up). so its hard to tell the actual speed of these old monsters.

Keep that tach on a soft pillow under glass! They go easily and are hard to find. Agree with you about the challenge on these...later years they took off the odometer and stuck with hours only.
