What RPM do you cruise at in a 1404 Imp?

I got the Imp out on an 80KM run. Mine seems to idle around 2000RPM and I had it cruising between 3000-3500RPM. Someone marked the redline at 4000 RPM, does this seem about right?

The service manual for the Saab v4 says it should idle at 800-900 rpm, which seems right to me for a 4 cylinder, but that is also for the 1.7 litre. Not sure if that would make that much of a difference with the 1.5. Perhaps the jetting on the carb for higher altitudes makes a difference?

Idle ought to be something under 1,000 RPM.

I tend to cruise between 2,000 and 3,000. I don't usually go much over 3,000.
