Tucker in Wyoming...

I saw this on Craigslist (no affiliation):
http://wyoming.craigslist.org/rvs/3980648300.html

The photos are not very good and the description lacks a bunch of important information, such as the number of hours, model, etc.

It appears to be a 1544. The blade looks like someone has hacked up the cutting edge with a torch. As I understand it Tucker offered two different versions of the six-way blade. Both have power up and down and angle left and right.

They differ in that one has the capability to tilt from the longitudinal axis of the machine. (That would be useful in a sidehill situation where you want to create a more-or-less level cut.)

The other style deletes the tilt but instead allows you to essentially "curl" the blade forward to create a rolling motion of the snow in front of the blade.

Two 1644 Tucker Sno Cats with blades sold a Ritchie Bros in Prince George BC Canada a few weeks back for $7500 & $9500. 4 way blades, machine looked fair shape. I sat on my hands, already have 2 cats in the shed.

You Sir, are disciplined!

If the machines were reasonably decent I don't think I could have resisted at those prices...I'm glad I wasn't there!
