I saw the pics of your bent box elsewhere.

How about you post them here?

I took my cargo box off and built my own. I seriously doubt I could damage it the way yours bent.

If you want to replace your metal box, I can post pics of what I made.

I don't think my design can go beyond the RTV.

I built a pressure-treated wood box. It works great, looks mediocre but gets it done. The added storage is really needed.

I regularly throw 100# logs into it and all it can say is "got another?".
