Ever notice how certain products are almost 100% referenced by a name brand?

I have about 100 but here's a few to get us going. Add them as you think of them.
Jello - as opposed to gelatin desert
Q-Tip - as opposed to cotton swab
Band-Aid - as opposed to adhesive strip
Kleenex - as opposed to ?? I don't even know. Maybe facial tissue?

When I was a kid, the refrigerator was known as a Frigidaire (or “Frig”) no matter the manufacturer. Of course lots of folks called them an ice box too!

Growing up, snowmobiling in Vermont was always called Skidooing, regardless of the brand of snowmobile. I guess SkiDoo must have been one of the first. I owned an Arctic Cat and still called in Skidooing. LOL.

Hate to even mention them but RoundUp.

Roundup does not work like it used to. At one time it was a great weed killer. Cleaned out some bamboo that had migrated in. Now, it actually seems more like it helps the weeds to grow instead of killing them. :yum:
