My dads dog has pine sap right above his eye and I think its bugging him. Any suggestions on how I remove this stuff? Its like tar.

how did you do it? i have pine trees in my back yard and sometimes it gets on my two dogs. i use p-nut butter, it kinda works but not real well.
Goo Gone - and they smell all nice and orangey afterwards!
