another Iditarod in the books three trips to Solomon racked up 90 miles another ,35 with a national geographic photographer, up to cripple river for a photo safari , some 15 trips to banner peak to photograph the muskox, and several trips to safety .You can see in the pics one trip to Solomon was a AAA trip to repair a chevy truck with pod tracks, it sucked laying there in 20 mph winds at -10 changing a tie rod, but who else would do it. got another trip, im planning for next summer to go up to deering to recover an old halftrack at a mine and get it out to the beach for a barge company to pick up kind of my donation to our local museum. sounds like the stuff tv is made of the other guys always get the bucks for it.

ok why cant I post pics says a security token is missing
It does that if you upload too many at once. I have found success by doing 2 at a time. After the box clears do 2 more. Takes awhile if you have a lot of pics but it works.

around here we are subject to no wind warnings so I can run into places where I may have a mile or more of ground blown clear of snow sled runners wont last long being dragged over frozen gravel also the tracks wont freeze to they ground overnight like runners do the down side is less footprint area.

those are engines from the last train to no where. it was the first attempt to connect Europe to north America through the bering straits when the rr folded the miners grabbed the ties to construct the corduroy road in the casadepaga drainage another historic landmark out here

I think don is the local triple A in nome.
I a few months you'll have your new truck and long hot summer days. for R&R you can dust off your speedo and head out to one of those warmer ponds for some fun.
