And if he didnt have any money or insurance and lived in the US he wouldnt have ever gotten a MRI done. Insurance is great when you have it. And if you dont youre royally screwed.

The point is THEY HAD MONEY over there and STILL couldn't get an MRI!!! So, our system - the people without money or insurance die....their system - everyone dies!!!! 
But actually, at least with our system even the poor have alternatives...everything from free clinics, to charity, to loans, to payment plans. This guy had a brain tumor and they were going to make him wait 4mos to determine if it really was a brain tumor. How long would they make you wait for your petty (by commparison to a brain tumor) tooth thing?

A really long time. Dental work isn't covered in Canada unless it can be classified as a medical emergency.

Exactly, if you don't have any money and no insurance there is all kinds of programs for the these people. Just go down to you local emergency room and sit in the waiting room and watch all the people that come in with no insurance and get help. All they have to do is fill out some paperwork.
