Richard Lee of Hartford passed away September 22, 2018 at 88 years. He was born in Milwaukee and married the love of his life, Marlene, in June, 1952.

They had five children, Linda Hauser (Mark), Mary Krentz (Dan Komp), John Lee (Nancy), Susan Knickrehm, Robert Lee (Agnes); 14 grandchildren, Kate, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Jessica, Michelle, Stephanie, Andy, Peter, Samantha, Eric, Richard, Brian, Roger, Jacob and 6 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Dorothy Lee and brothers-in-law Jerry Voss and Ken Dumke.

Richard is preceded by his brother Robert, sister Virginia Voss, son-in-law Chuck Knickrehm, and sister-in-law Pat Dumke.

He was a Journeyman Tool and Die Maker. He founded the world’s largest reloading tool company Lee Precision and has been granted over 30 United States patents. He is recognized in the industry as the most prolific inventor. Lee Precision Inc. has employed hundreds of people from Hartford and surrounding communities.

He loved flying, long trips on his motorcycle, and day trips in the car. He lived his life well, as an honorable man.
