Looks like it would make a fun duck/goose hunting rig!

in regards to what to look for, I assume it runs and drives as it should.

I am assuming it has a couple of levers to initiate a turn. the most neglected bits are the idler wheel bearings and seals, ends of the axles take a pounding, and the adjustment of the brake bands.

if the sticks are mushy and the rig doesn't respond, compare its operation on varied surfaces, it should handle really good on gravel and loose material. where as on sod or firm soils it may be a bit sluggish to react.

of course snow should be predictable. looks like a neat platform to have in the collection.

He says it runs and drives. He just threw a new battery in to bring it to his shed where I will be looking at it tomorrow. He has the only issue with it is a sticky throttle cable. It does look neat to me. Be good for right of way servailince I think.

He also said he was going to change the oil in it for me before I take it so seems like a guy that looked after his stuff.

I have a 10 and a 15 parked in the back forty. If you buy it ,I'll post some pics to compare . But I know right now it doesn't look that good , hope you bring it home.

YeAh i get that, i am not a good wait - er either.
A cat that can float is desireable to me. I travel a lot of frozen lakes... the idea that some engineer said "thats enough buoyancy" is desirable to me.

Once I get it up to par it will live on pipeline row a few have beaver dams across them so see how she works. It will have its work cut our for it in this clay soil we have then to muskeg

The two I have are not pretty , but they are good candidates for restoration and the 15 ran and moved before the tracks came off.
The 10 you have lined up should be a handy rig , when you get her home.

What do the 10 and 15 have in them for rear ends? If anyone takes pictures of the data plate or rear end, please post them.
