pistenbully timing belt/waterpump change

I had the vw dealership do the timing belt and waterpump change yesterday.
it is a vw industrial engine so I had them do it. the engine is like the vw tdi jetta engine but industrial. i have 700hrs on it. I suspect they just put a car waterpump in it. they said something about the engine parts but didn't go into detail. the old belt got returned but the pump and pulleys never returned. $1300.
I know on my bombi the ford pinto waterpump fit but I noticed the housing was cast steel not aluminum.

trust me the only difference in the 2 engines other than maybe fuel delivery is the emissions certification process other wise its the same as the vw auto engine
