Hello,

I'm looking for specifications about my Kässbohrer PB 170D, year and weight is the most interesting.
I have typenumber: 10 813 1105.
Even a manual for the machine is interesting.
Can anyone help me with this?

Sincerely
Jonas from Sweden

If you could post the serial number I just may have parts and service manuals for it.
I can send them to you.

Hey Paul,
Is this the serialnumber 10 813 1105? Stands on a plate at the passenger side in the coupe.

Hello, I see interesting topic about PB 170 manual.
I have PB 170 D from 1986, but manual book from PB200. They are very similar but some things are different. Can anyone help with this?
In this moment I am having a trouble with third "working " hidraulic pump, how to reduce rpm of attached machine.
Thanks

Oh gee, now I get what mitija is looking for. As Jim states, there should be 2 dials which are potentiometers to control the pump speeds. Here they are on the PB 400, seen between the steering yoke. The white or yellow dials with numbers. Maybe there are similar dials on you older machine??

I dont't think there is any potentiometer on the wheel, but there is electronic plate, under radio, whitch has three potentiometers on it. Also I am not sure about three buttons (red and green ) beside radio. Your machine is yunger, i gues it is much more simple.

you may have an auto leveling button for the front blade and a emergency kill button.
my canyon is pretty simple and just has the basic switches.
you can turn the potentiometer all the way down and just run the pumps. I just have one.

I'm far, far from being a PB mechanical expert. Can you post photos of you dash?? Those might be helpful.. Oh, now you did... Can you do more from other vantage points??

I can maybe explain the 3 potentiometers on the chip under radio. The biggest one is for steering, you will calibrate so the groomer goes straight ahead. The other two is, one for the maximum rpm for engine and the other one for wich rpm the hydraulic should goes on. If you have the other one on lets say 1400rpm, even with the forward gear in, the hydraulic dosent do anything before you rise the rpm to over 1400rpm. So you should can stand still with engine even if gear forward or backward is on so long the rpm on engine is lower then you have put the potentiometer on. I had big problem with the moogvalve on the hydraulic pump, one of the electric spools in the burned up so I got an specialist to make a new one.
