We have cedar siding on the house.
Over the years it's obviously darkened. But, it's not consistant. The north face has greyed, the areas most exposed to sun have turned dark brown, up near the soffits is a lighter color.
Is there a way to clean/lighten the boards? When we bought the house, the boards were a nice light color. Now, Mrs. Zoom thinks the dark (and mis-matched colors) make it look dingy.
