When I got this tucker the owner told me he replaced or something with one of the axles. The above rusted axle was in the back tool box when I got it. Other than the extension tucker has from the taper back the splines and measurements are the same.

Why can't I machine up a female male threaded piece to add to a stock new power wagon axle which is where I believe the rusted one came from? Could weld or pin? Too weak?

Eventually the used axle supply will dry up and it sounds like people will need more axles in life.

What do you think?
