Going to be an interesting winter. Tim "The Tax Cheat" Geithner has no answer to congress on cuts. Just more taxes, more spending and another stimulus to try once more to buy our way out of this mess. These morons, the American people have elected, have no clue on how to fix this. None.

Currently there are 11 states where the wagon riders out number the wagon pullers. Is one of them yours? If so, keep on eye on things. Again, things are going to be interesting. The lefties are emboldened by their Annointed One's victory in Nov. They think they now have a Carte Blanche to do whatever they want with no input from anyone who does not follow the party line.

The pensions are what will sink NY. The school districts and legislature made unrealistic gimmes to the unions for years and they will never be able to be paid without totally driving folks out of their homes. There are no politicians with the balls to tell it like it is and modify some of the craziness. We have teachers retiring and collecting over $80,000 a year retirement. That is over twice the average salary of the taxpayers in my county. County and state workers are almost as bad. There is no way in hell they will meet the obligations they gave to them. I personally hope they let the state go bankrupt and restructure the pension liability. But they will just keep raising taxes and passing feel good legislation that supposedly "caps" taxes and the very next year they run ads and raise 3-4% anyway.
