Chicago Pastor Calls on Trump to Send Troops, If Needed, to Violent City

A Chicago preacher whose neighborhood has been wracked by deadly violence for months said he would accept any help from President Trump on the matter, even if it involved the National Guard.

The Rev. Gregory Livingston, of New Hope Baptist Church, said Mayor Rahm Emanuel (D) has "blood on his hands," and is allegedly "sitting on" millions of dollars in Department of Housing and Urban Development funds that could be helping the affected neighborhoods.

"Rahm's words do nothing for that family," Livingston said of a mother of a 17-year-old shot and killed over the weekend amid the violence.

The good reverend needs to redirect his ire to the people who keep voting Emanuel back into office they have the power to fix the problem at the voting booth.

If the troops come to Chicago the first order should be to march Rahm and a bunch of other top echelon assholes straight to jail. Then maybe go to the state legislature and do some cleanup there!!

Simply, Chi Town is not a federal problem. Let the city solve their own problems.

Fact is 70-80% of the good pastors flock voted for Rahm and company and their fathers and mothers for earlier leaders. And they will continue to do so.

Emanuel will likely celebrate the drop as a victory against crime, but Chicago’s communities are no less concerned this weekend than last. It will be weeks before Chicago residents will know whether the tide of violence has receded.
