Medics sentenced to die in Libya case
"A Libyan court sentenced five Bulgarian nurses and a Palestinian doctor to death yesterday for deliberately infecting hundreds of children with the virus that causes AIDS, provoking a chorus of Western condemnation.
Some Western scientists say negligence and poor hospital hygiene are the real culprits and the six are scapegoats."
Something is wrong here.
If the doctor and nurses did deliberately infect hundreds of children with AIDS, they deserve to be executed.
If the AIDS was caused by negligence and poor hospital hygiene, what about our American children?
We Americans are told that children with AIDS can attend schools with our children, and people with AIDS can work in our hospitals and restaurants because there is no chance AIDS can be spread through poor hygene and AIDS is not a danger.
