A lovely spruce log floated onto the bank last spring during high water. We have been eyeing it ever since. Today was the day to harvest it. We cut it into 15' pieces and used the Nodwell to drag them onto the bank. A good snowpack made it possible. Nice looking wood. In a few years this will be frames and long stock for a new wooden drift boat.
